The Status of Native Seed Sources in the Western San Joaquin Valley (California)

We then asked the obvious question: what portion of the remaining Valley Grassland flora is comprised by grasses? CalFlora listed 27 species of grasses (i.e., Poaceae) as being associated with the Valley Grassland community in Fresno County; we’ve encountered just five of these (18.5%).
